Mighty Mini Club Social Responsibility Program
In keeping with the Mighty Mini Club's annual SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
PROGRAMME the committee has once again made a sizeable donation for a
very worthy cause.
Member’s Day race meet that was held on the 6th of December 2009 at the Mirigama Super Race Track was specifically organized by our club to collect funds to cover the cost of an urgent surgery required for a child of an active member from Katana. All profits from the event amounting to a sum of Rs. 142,460.50 were handed over to Mr. Chamara the father of the child by Mr. T. G. N. Gamini and Mr. Wicky Wickremesinghe the Vice President and the Chairman Organizing Committee respectively, at the committee meeting of the club which was held recently.
