The Mighty Mini Katana Autocross was conducted on the 8th of March at Pope Paul the 6th Maha Vidiyalaya grounds in Katana. This event was organized by the Mighty Mini Club as a members day and was in aid of the school development fund.
A total of these events consisting 54 entries were conducted on a 450 meters gravel course. The fastest time of the day was clocked by Susantha Gunawardena driving a Mini 1000 in the Mini 7 class with timing of 1 minute 31:305 seconds. The ladies event was won by Shehara Fernando with a timing of 1 minute 54:794 seconds. Other drivers who excelled were Lal Jayatissa, Praveen Madugalle, Andrew Lal Perera and Charith Nugwela.
